Subsidiary «Ukrgazvydobuvannia» is a vertically integrated company with a closed production cycle – from the prospecting and exploration of oil and gas, their degisn, production to transportation, refining of hydrocarbons and oil products sales.

Subsidiary «Ukrgazvydobuvannia» was established in July of 1998 as a result of the reorganization of JSC «Ukrgasprom». The structure of Subsidiary «Ukrgazvydobuvannia» includes gas producing enterprises and subdivisions of JSC «Ukrgasprom».

Subsidiary «Ukrgazvydobuvannia» leads the development of gas, oil and gas condensate in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Donetsk, Luhansk, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Transcarpathian and Volyn regions. Exploration works on the company's search for new hydrocarbon deposits are maintained in the Dnieper-Donets basin in the Carpathian region, and, in conjunction with the GAO "Chornomornaftogas", in the northern part of the Kerch Peninsula and at Prikerchenskiy the Black and Azov Seas.

Today Subsidiary «Ukrgazvydobuvannia» is the main company in extracting natural gas and gas condensate in Ukraine. In 2011, the Company's enterprises produced 14.9 billion of m3 gas, which accounts for 75% of production in Ukraine.
